Devon Farmhouse

Old Tom's Place is in-part original Devon farmhouse, built from cob (mud and straw) and stone. This element of the farmstead is believed to date from the 1600s. Our restorations have recreated the old courtyard of buildings and is effectively new build on the existing footprint. It forms a link between the farmhouse and what we call the Millhouse, which is where we found the old millstones for the annual cider-making exercise! The Millhouse is a warm, honest-looking double storey stone barn and together with the farmhouse and single storey courtyard range of buildings, forms Old Tom's Place.

We look forward to welcoming you!
